Winding up the carbon footprint

We hustle to reach for the stars, we hustle to catch the stars for our loved ones.

Amidst this chase, we drove ourselves to lose the twinkling stars dangling in the skies.

We saw the chaos in darkness and hoped to travel far off to the north,

Where the skies and seas met each other to say, ‘Hello’.

Today, our actions can be seen as a wave of climate change,

But there are hopes to change with the choices we pick,

So let’s travel with plausible ways to bring back the twinkling skies again!

Walk up till your feet is willing to brush past the carbon footprint,

Pause down to breathe and watch the nature breathe around.

Car or Train, Cycle or Plane; there ain’t choices as straight as a road to pick,

But to keep Mother Earth in your thoughts & actions,

While you pullover to regain the carbon-free cords on Earth!
